First Christian Church is on a “Transformation Journey”.  Through this time of transition, we are asking many questions about where we are now and where do we want to go.

 Appreciative Inquiry is the avenue we have chosen, along with the coaching of the Rev. Dr. Harold Dowler, to explore the best of our past and embrace the amazing future God has in store for First Christian Hennessey.

 Appreciative Inquiry gives us the opportunity on our journey to identify and embrace the following:

Appreciative Inquiry is the vehicle that brings forth the questions that plug us into the very core of our being. At that core is God, and when we plug into that, our way and the way of the church becomes God’s Way.

With the decision in 2009 to call Mickey Moery as our Pastor from his role as Interim, we are entering a new phase of transformation. We will continue to learn new questions and open ourselves to God's leading.
